Mountain biking at Telluride Bike Park or the trails at Ridgway. Road biking on Highway 62 which has a wide paved shoulder. Kayaking and rafting on the San Miguel River in the spring. Fly fishing on the San Miguel, Dolores or Uncompahgre Rivers not to mention numerous alpine lakes and streams. Hiking and backpacking opportunities abound throughout the region and there is an old mining road just steps out the front door and a trail up and down Leopard Creek. Off-roading and touring the San Juan Skyway are easy day trips from the house.

The house is a modern 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a very rustic charm. The reverse floor plan is somewhat unique with the bedrooms on the first floor and living space upstairs. No lugging heavy suitcases up the stairs and the views from the second floor are beautiful. There are large decks on the front and back of the house. The back deck has a gas grill. They are great places to hang out at the end of the day to relax and plan the next day s adventure. The stargazing from either deck is spectacular since there are no other houses within a mile of the house and no intrusive light.
